Artistic Composition
Initially, the patterns were crafted using a combination of acrylics, fine liners, and watercolours. Through digital manipulation, I adjusted the colours and saturation to achieve the vibrant results seen here.
I value incorporating aspects from both my French and Cameroonian roots into my artistic endeavours because I am a person of mixed heritage

My creations are collages and patterns that showcase the diversity of my ethnic identity, inspired by the pattern paintings of French artist Nathalie du Pasquier and the patterns found on Cameroonian fabrics. Combining these styles celebrates my multicultural background and enables me to investigate the links and overlaps between many traditions.
